Pulling out Christmas boxes today! We have 4 parties that we are hosting here at the house this Christmas and the first one is December 8th so I have lots of decorating to do before then!
I am trying to get some Christmas inspiration and was going through my Christmas past pictures. Thought you might like to see just a few (promise not to overload you with pictures!) highlights from years past.
I want to change up things a little this season but still only using what I have in those 15 boxes of decorations!
Dining room tree a few years ago
We have juniper trees in our back yard and I love using the greenery for Christmas.
I spend lots of time unwrapping candies one year for my Pastel Christmas one year
Keeping Jesus the main theme is my ultimate desire. Chalk boards reminding us of who is is is a great way to do that- Praying each day that He would be my main focus through out the day is the BEST way!
This is an old Lamp base that I used to hold the Christmas tree. I stuck some lights in it so it would lite up.
Well I better get unpacking those boxes and start Christmas!
If you would like to see more of Christmas at my house you can go to these tours-

I bet your home just shines during the holidays! Hope to come down for a quick visit to see it in person, weather permitting!

This year I can visualize it all! Since being in your home this year, it will really come to life as you share your wonderful Christmas decor. Can't wait to see it! Wish I lived close enough to come help unpack thoses boxes!

I went back to your tour in 2008 to see the changes in your house - what fun to see the old dining room wallpaper!!! Wish I had access to some juniper -- we had some at other houses we have lived in, but not here. The smell is wonderful. Wish you were closer, I'd come snatch a few boughs! Hope your Thanksgiving was great. Sally
I bet your home is just glorious at the holidays. If I happen to be in the neighborhood, I just might stop by. I found another great store in LJ that I hadn't been to before - thought of you.
Blessings to you!

Mary,
You photos are filled with more inspiration, dear friend!
Our first Christmas party is my Progressive Christmas Brunch. . .December 8th!!! Like you, I'm trying to use what I have in my boxes and NOT purchase more!!! I already have a DISCLAIMER to that theory; however...the cost has been minimal! Does that count???
Now, today is the day (after Worship) that I pack all the Autumnal items away! My goal with every season is to take a box or a sack full of donated cast~offs to our local Thrift Shop!!! Sharing God's bountiful blessings with others and helping our Church Missions at the same time!!!
Have a productive week!!!
Fondly,
Pat
Love your chalk board and the pink ornaments under the cloche! So pretty!
Thanks for sharing and inspiring
Jenna
Can't wait to see what you do this year, Mary. I want to change up mine, but it seems to all just be heading back to the same spots. I'm just not as creative as you. laurie
It's almost like stepping back in time and so very beautiful, Mary. Good luck with your decorating and party preparations!
Mary, I wen to your 2011 tour...What a fabulous house, oh you do have a ton to decorate, I can see why people would want to use your house for a Christmas party! Me, I still can't get my car in the garage because of all of the wedding decor!!!! And I still have out of town guests until tomorrow!

I love the juniper greenery vignette. I have to go out tomorrow and cut more juniper and stick it with some pretty things, not just in rustic stuff.
Beautiful inspiration! Thanks so much for stopping by Posed Perfection today and leaving me a sweet comment about my burlap bird ornaments. They were so fun and easy to make. I am your newest follower. I hope you'll visit again soon and maybe even follow me back. Have a wonderful Christmas season!
Blessings,
Nici
Wow, you really go all out. I love every one of your beautiful vignettes and the chalkboard is the best! I'll keep reminding myself not to stress:-)
Everything is so beautiful, Mary. I am sure what you will come up for this year will be as beautiful or even better. I am done and am so relieved. Stop by when you have a chance!...Christine
Mary you pictures of Christmas past are enchanting! I know you're going to find major inspiration in them....I certainly did...That lamp base tree was just too cool! *winks* Vanna

The first time I ever saw your blog was when you posted your Christmas decor several years ago, Mary! I thought it all looked so lovely and ethereal. :-) Sue
