Vintage Chalkboard Christmas in the Kitchen

CHRISTmas is finally here in the kitchen!
This year is vintage ornaments and red accents along with a newly painted chalkboard.

I had been wanting a chalkboard here for ages to write down grocery lists and such and finally got around to painting this, once was ironing board area.
Here is the before

Took such a short amount of time and paint for that matter to make a useful and fun chalkboard not to mention much needed !

It really makes that area look so much nicer now.
To the right is my little tiny laundry area which is another project needing to get done sometime.
A great place to remind us what CHRISTmas is all about- Jesus
Love my little cupboard filled with red transfer ware and vintage goodies!
Will be showing more of this fun little space along with my vintage tree soon!

Very pretty! I love the pops of pink and the chalkboard is a great idea. I'm your neighbour visiting from At The Picket Fence's Blogger Christmas Block Party (kitchens.)

Oh Mary, this is so lovely. I have been sitting going through your last three posts of your beautiful Christmas decorated home and loving every minute of it. I would feel so at home in your gorgeous home. It has such an inviting warmth to it.

Mary I'm green with envy over all the wonderful old details in your home! Your chalkboard cupboard looks great!
I've been so grateful this year to hear people say "Merry Christmas" instead of "Happy Holidays" I hope we're getting back in touch with the REAL reason for the season *winks* Vanna
