Christmas Subway Art Chalkboard

I made a pretty chalkboard using a great mirror frame last summer. I put it in my booth to sell and as it was so cute, it was put outside to attract attention along with other goodies. Well it fell down when a gust of wind came up and broke one of the little curly ques so I took it home to fix it where it promptly was forgotten.

I spied it earlier this week and thought broken or not it would make a great subway art piece for Christmas!

I think this may just not make it back to the store now!
I think it was made for this wall!  It is sitting on top of the old time radiator that helps heat the room

Have you used Subway Art in your decor?
I had so much fun writing out the words- wish I were a bit more artistic in the penmanship area but I think it looks pretty good for the most part.

If you would like to see more of the pretty room plus tons of other Christmas-
you can
see it by clicking Here and Here

If you are wanting to try to make your own ,
I just found a great little tutorial  over at You Seriously Made That? on how to make you
own Subway art using the Picnik Program.

Mary,
The Subway Art Chalkboard is a "keeper"!!! I adore how you've propped it on the rad! I use one in my kitchen for the Menu Board! Thank you for showcasing the compote full of silver ornaments. I have my MoMa's compote (very similar) and I never know quite how to give it the attention it deserves. You have some of the BEST ideas! Thank you for your sweet comment and visit...stop by again, soon!
Fondly,
Pat

Oh, it's adorable! I have a 6 foot tall chalkboard I made for my kitchen and I sympathize with your handwriting agony, though yours looks really good-- really! (Wa-a-y better than mine!)
