Is Pink Ever Inappropriate?

Before we start our discussion on whether pink is ever inappropriate
I want to thank Beverly for featuring my lil ol blog this Saturday for Pink Saturday!
I am tickled pink!
She asked me to do a little post for her blog talking a little about me -
If you would like to know a bit more about me you can run over to Beverly's post here.

Is there ever a time when pink is inappropriate?
Hmm definitely appropriate in Spring-
And summers heat is gracefully diffused with pinks in the garden-

 Pink in the Fall?
Oh it truly is lovely and so much softer than the sometimes harsh orange that is so often seen this time of year-

Winter also welcomes pink in glass balls and

pretty in pink Christmas vignettes

Pink is always appropriate in delicate crochet and lace
and pretty pictures painted
But how about homemade pink laundry soap?
(to learn how to make your own click HERE)
I cannot begin to tell you how much pleasure pink soap brings to the task of laundry.

Well dear friends I could go on and on defending the appropriateness of Pink.  I don't think I have ever found a time or place when pink would be inappropriate-
Have You?

Thank you again Beverly for featuring my blog for this week's Pink Saturday!
Be sure to go and visit more Pink Saturday Ladies!

Pink is such a soft, warm color. You display it beautifully. May I ask what photo program you use to soften the edges of your pics?

Love your pink post Mary!!! Every picture is just beautiful.
Haven't gotten your shams in the mail yet. My sleep study kind of interupted my week and put me off course, but I hope to get the first set to the post office today or tomorrow.

Fun post, Mary!

Did you use Zote laundry soap in your homemade soap? Isn't the color pretty to use in the laundry?

Mary, A bee keeper? that is amazing. We are under a severe drought here in central Texas and worry about the bees with so few blooming things. I'm on my way to get a pencil and notecard to copy the pink detergent recipe. Have a Pink Week.

Well you've convinced me, Mary, there's always a place for pink. I am very attracted to your lovely photos, and your blog. I'll be sure to be coming by again.

Congratulations for being featured on How Sweet the Sound with dear Beverly. Your leading an interesting life, and I understand fully about having so many things you'd like to accomplish. I wouldn't call it ADD, more like we have many facets to us (like beautiful diamonds), and not enough time to express them all.

Sweet Blessings,
Marianne

And I'm definitely going to try the pink laundry detergent. Thanks for sharing the "recipe."

By the way, where do you get the Zote soap? The website where you got the Fels Naptha doesn't offer that. I would love to have the pink detergent, but I've never heard of that soap.

Would you share where you obtained your Zote? Thanks.
