A Little Victorian Christmas

Oh my over a month since my last post!
The time seems to fly so fast these days.
I have done a little decorating and so wanted to join in a few of the parties in blog land so am sharing a few pictures of my living room.
I seem to have a time getting photos to look just right with all the pretty lights but these few pictures will have to suffice for now.

My favorite decor for the Christmas season is the beautiful nativity I received for a Christmas present from Bill's folks.
It so invokes the true meaning of this season and I think I could  be happy if  the nativity was the only Christmas decorating that came out of the many stored boxes in the basement.

The mantle is very simple this year with twigs from outside, a few mercury balls and greenery with lights.
A cheery fire is almost always part of this scene as this is our main source of heat.

I love my JOY cherubs that I have had for sometime.

I hope to get more pictures up but hope this makes you want to come back for more!

We had to take our home back that we were owner financing in New Mexico and ministry has been keeping me more busy than usual. I am so sorry I haven't been over to visit all you lovely ladies lately but know I think of you all often and miss our little chats!  I do hope to pop over and say "hi" soon!
Please join the Christmas with Victoria party with us! Joining sweet Marty's party and Cindy's Show and Tell Friday, and these lovely parties - just click on the buttons!

Your nativity is to die for... I only wish to have one someday, Hard to find in Sweden. I found few but it isn't the one I love to have.

Very pretty ambiance. Happy TTT & mid-week ahead.

Mary has SURFACED!! I knew you had been busy with the N.M. house, etc. Hope all of that gets resolved quickly for you. If that red chair goes missing, you know I have snuck in during the night. Aren't nativities the best of the Christmas decorations? Mine have such special meanings, also. Hopefully, on a nice January day we can meet for lunch in Pueblo. In the meantime, enjoy this glorious season. Sally
